Gisele Bündchen is embracing Mother Nature with open arms. The model and environmental activist is currently in her home country of Brazil, where she's filming the second season of National Geographic's documentary series Years of Living, and she's getting a head start on raising awareness about climate change by posting some pretty gorgeous Instagrams.

Today, Bündchen shared a stunning shot of herself riding horseback in the amazon at sunset, and it'll take your breath away. In the snap, she stands up on the stirrups and raises her her face and hands towards the sky, while the horse peacefully pauses to eat. She simply captioned the snap with a heart and world emoji.

And while the scenery is enough to distract us, the model looks equally as gorgeous in jeans and a denim button-down shirt.

Yesterday I met Paulo Adario (a warrior for the forests). We flew over the Amazon and I was able to see the extent of destruction from above. We have to stop this before it is too late. I can't wait to share my experience with all of you soon on @NatGeoChannel @YearsofLiving Dangerously season 2 #Yearsproject #greenpeace 🌳🌳🌳 Ontem eu conheci Paulo Adario (um guerreiro para as florestas).

#desmatamentozero #somosum #amomeuplaneta #amoravida 🌳🐅🐘🐋🌎💧👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Yesterday was #WorldEnvirnomentDay. All of us (water, forests, plants, animals and human beings...) who share this beautiful planet are connected. We can't harm one part of this system without injuring the whole. We depend on this balance for our survival. I hope we can wake up to this reality before it's too late. #wildforlife #weareone #Ilovemyplanet
