Gigi Hadid Strips Down to Nearly Nothing in Stuart Weitzman's Spring 2017 Campaign
The 21-year-old It-girl's run as the face of the shoe brand continues, and she's stripping down once more for its spring 2017 campaign. The black-and-white photos by Mario Testino (who has been shooting campaigns for the brand for more than a decade) feature Hadid wearing nothing but a pair of satin "Clinger" ankle boots—with some subtle updates to the classic style.
Hadid's working relationship with Weitzman is nearly as long as her legs. She appeared in her first campaign for the iconic shoe brand alongside Lily Aldridge and Joan Smalls for the designer's spring 2016 collection. The models famously ditched all but their shoes for the black-and-white photos to showcase "the intimate relationship between a woman and her shoes." Next she went solo for Weitzman's fall 2016 campaign, which was inspired by her real-life workouts. Then in October, the multi-threat model and the designer announced their collaboration: a combat boot with stacked heels called, appropriately, the "Gigi Boot." And now, here we are a year after her first campaign, and we're quite literally back to the basics—except this time, the coveted model is holding it down on her own.
