Gigi Hadid's Dad Has Commented on Her Reported Pregnancy

Though Gigi Hadid's mom, Yolanda, appeared to confirm she is indeed expecting a baby with Zayn Malik, her father Mohamed played it a lot more coy when asked about the reported pregnancy.

“Normally I don’t talk about family affairs in the public, so let’s leave it alone for now. I have to get used to a lot of things, so let’s keep that conversation for the next time," he reportedly told Al Jadeed TV via Instagram Live on April 29, one day after the news broke, per Us Weekly.

"Let me digest it and talk to her first ‘cause I’m not sure if it’s real or not," he said. "If she is, I’ll be very happy just as long as the baby is healthy and she’s healthy. That’s all I care [about]. I’ll be very proud of her if she has one. As of now, I’m not sure, so that’s why I can’t give an answer."

Meanwhile, her mother Yolanda told RTL Boulevard, "Still shocked our little secret got leaked to the press. Of course we are so excited. I'm excited to become Oma in September, especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life, one soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed."

On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Gigi is pregnant with her first child with Zayn Malik, and that she is 20 weeks into her pregnancy. The outlet also later reported the couple is expecting a girl, though neither Gigi nor Zayn have confirmed the news either way.
