Was Gigi Hadid ever a crazed One Direction fan? Apparently not.

Despite her current relationship with Zayn Malik, a former member of the band, the supermodel was never that into 1D as a teen. The 21-year-old star revealed on Wednesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she wasn't a huge One Direction follower, unlike so many other tweens and teenagers at the time of the boy band's heyday, circa 2010.

"I grew up in a household where my stepdad [David Foster] was a classical musical producer —Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban— that was the music I was into," she explained.

However, she noted, "I think we can all name a One Direction song that we like," though when the audience responded quietly, she laughed: "Or maybe not!"

Hadid also made sure to clarify: "I love Zayn Malik solo a lot more!" Extra girlfriend points there.

It's appropriate that Hadid likes many different kinds of music because she has an upcoming gig as co-host of the 2016 American Music Awards, alongside SNL alum Jay Pharoah. Kimmel, who has previously hosted the AMAs, admitted he was skeptical about a "supermodel hosting a show that I once hosted but I feel now that you're gonna do a good job. You have the right attitude and personality."

Hadid said, "Me too! I'm still skeptical!" Good luck to her!
