With the kickoff of New York Fashion Week just a couple of days away, model Gigi Hadid has been getting in some warm-up walks on the city's busy streets. Between preparations for her big Tommy Hilfiger show on Friday, the 21-year-old model stepped out for lunch at The Standard in Manhattan's East Village on Monday in an outfit we're dying to replicate ourselves.
The cover girl wore a mini Tularosa wrap dress with a grommet trim and a pair of fashion-forward suede over-the-knee Stuart Weitzman boots ($798; stuartweitzman.com)—a brilliant combination of summery white and fall footwear—for the midday meal. Hadid finished her the look with her signature pair of round reflective sunnies, a monogram "G" pendant, and a black Saint Laurent Sac de Jour bag.
Celebrity stylist Monica Rose recently spoke with InStyle about what we could expect to see Hadid and the other fashion It girls wearing this season.
"I think it needs to be a surprise, because it's all for Fashion Week, and I can't really give away too much," she revealed. "I do have to say, I surprised myself—there are different patterns, colors, and even some color-blocking. I just had a fun fitting with Gigi Hadid. We just did our Fashion Month fitting, which was about 20 outfits, and that's all I'm going to say."
If this look is any indication for what's to come, it's going to be a great month!
