All eyes were on Shailene Woodley last night at The Cinema Society's screening of Divergent, where the star accented her premiere look with a bold red lip and fresh-faced makeup. We thought the red carpet look would translate well into the real world -- especially for a weekend night out -- so we caught up with Woodley's makeup artist Roxy Saffaie, who spilled all the details on how you can recreate the effect at home. "We pulled some influence from Audrey Hepburn's classic eyeliner, but stepped it up more with definition around her eyes to create a stronger effect," she tells InStyle.com exclusively. "Her look is very wearable because we kept everything clean and structured to bring out the best in her features. Confidence is your best beauty accessory in any event, but especially when wearing bold lip color -- Shailene does this with total ease, and so can you!" To start, Saffaie applied a layer of the Physicians Formula Organic CC Cream ($15; physiciansformula.com) to create a fresh finish, then touched up under the eyes and the center of the face with a concealer. A touch of bronzer made for a slight contour, and Tarte's Cheek Stain in Blissful ($30; tartecosmetics.com) was swept across her cheeks to create a natural flush. Picking up 100% Pure's Eye Shadows in Golden Honey, Tahiti, and Halo ($17 each; 100percentpure.com), the pro blended each shade onto Woodley's lids, then topped off the look with Physicians Formula Organic Wear CC Curl Mascara ($10; physiciansformula.com). The Tarte Glamazon Lipstick in Fierce ($26; tartecosmetics.com) was used to create the statement lip. "If red overwhelms you, find another color you feel confident in, and rock it," adds Roxy. "One great tip is to step back from the mirror a few minutes after applying your makeup to get the real effect of how its wearing. If you need more, step back in and continue the process."

The fun atmosphere backstage also came into play when creating Woodley's dynamic look. Saffaie notes that the star and her glam squad geared up by playing Lana Del Rey and Lorde, and lots of laughs were had by all before the big event. "Shailene is such an amazing woman who really appreciates all that exists within her life. She is such a bright spirit, and is also one of my very best friends, so getting ready with her is always a blast," she tells us. "I truly feel there is nothing more beautiful than a woman who owns her beauty and laughs a lot, so it's important to me that we keep the process of getting ready positive and all-around enjoyable!"
