The couple officially tied the knot today in Venice, Italy at the Aman Canal Grande luxury resort surrounded by family and friends, reports People. "George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin were married today in a private ceremony in Venice, Italy," the actor's rep said in a statement. Celebrity guests included Matt Damon and his wife Luciana, Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Richard Kind, Ellen Barkin, and more. Clooney and Alamuddin, who became engaged in April of this year after the actor proposed to his now wife with a stunning 7-plus carat emerald-cut diamond, looked completely in love as they arrived in the city on Friday via taxiboat. The couple has had a whirlwind, jet-setting romance that included movie screenings with President Obama and a Tanzanian safari.
