Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow Spent a Sunday Afternoon Together

"Hi from the girls across the hall."

There may not have been a new episode of Friends in over a decade, but that hasn't stopped its stars from spending time together any chance they can get.

On Sunday evening, Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow got together for a veritable girls' night. Jennifer posted a few snaps from their hangout to her relatively new Instagram account, much to the delight of fans across the globe.

In one photo, Jennifer and her co-stars are grinning straight on into the camera. In the next, "Rachel" is nuzzling "Monica," with a nod to the women's close friendship on the show.

"Hi from the girls across the hall ," Aniston captioned her series of snaps from the miniature reunion.

It's likely the ladies met up for their own version of a 2020 Critics' Choice Awards viewing party, given that Aniston's The Morning Show co-star Billy Crudup was up for Best Supporting Actor, though the reason for their reunion wasn't disclosed.

Of course, fans checking out the snaps made it clear they were over the moon about seeing the ladies spending time together, because it could have meant one very important thing: work on the possible Friends reunion specials begun.

Previously, sources have indicated that a special is coming to WarnerMedia's upcoming streaming service HBO Max. It's the new home for all episodes of Friends, and is set to launch in May. The series was removed from Netflix on January 1.

There haven't been any concrete details announced just yet, but it's very possible that the reunion special is coming to give Friends fans what they've been asking for ever since, well, the show ended.

And as for the "girls across the hall?" They're always going to be there for each other, and typically spend time together whenever possible. Here's to many more hangouts that we can gush over in the future.
