Remember when Camp Rock stars Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas were one of Hollywood’s hottest young couples? The Disney stars have since broken up and gone on to lead wildly successful music careers, but there’s no bad blood between these famous exes.

Lovato is in the middle of her Future Now tour with Joe’s brother Nick, and fans in Washington, D.C. got a huge surprise last night when the DNCE singer made his way to the stage. To make the 2008 nostalgia even more intense, Lovato and Joe performed their Camp Rock duet, “Gotta Find You,” to the delight of screaming fans, and even shared a sweet embrace.

“Sharing the stage with @nickjonas and @ddlovato in DC last night! Surprising Demi with Gotta find you was something I will never forget!” Joe wrote on Instagram. “Thanks for having me guys! Amazing show you guys put on. Proud to have such talented wonderful people in my life.”

“She’s family,” Joe recently told E! News. “I don’t think of her as an ex. We’re really good friends. We’ve gone through so much together and we’re really close now.”
