First Wives Club Alums Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler, and Diane Keaton to Reunite for a Netflix Movie
The girls are back in town! Nearly 20 years have passed since Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler, and Diane Keaton starred together in the hit film The First Wives Club, but they are about to have an epic reunion.
The women will star in a new Netflix movie, titled Divanation, about former members of singing group who reconnect after a 30-year estrangement. Singing, fighting, and these three ladies? Sounds amazing to us!
Midler tweeted about the exciting news: "Bit of a hot topic today because Netflix added #FirstWivesClub to their roster ... and gearing up to make #divanation with me, Golde & Diane."
As you may recall, the three ladies worked together on the 1996 film The First Wives Club, directed by Hugh Wilson, where they played former college friends who reconnected over their bad marriages and being, well, first wives. We know Midler can sing, but Hawn and Keaton also proved they had some pipes in the final scene of First Wives Club when they performed the epic musical number "You Don't Own Me."
We definitely want to see more of this please!
