She’s “the master” (get it?!) of knowing what does and doesn’t work for her—a trick she picked up from her stylist, Cristina Ehrlich. “The thing is with her, and some of my other clients I’ve worked with for a long time, is that you can really the choices that we’ve made are streamlined and very clean,” the stylist explained at the New York announcement of her Guest Stylist partnership with Coldwater Creek. “You can just really see that she’s wearing the dress and that she feels confident in it. They’re all really done proportionally.” And this goes for her range of looks, from solid colors to peplum to prints (from left: floral-printed J. Mendel, an emerald sheath, two-toned Vionnet, and polka-dotted Jenny Packham). Your lesson: “[It’s about] going for a very timeless and classic sensibility,” the celebrity stylist advised. “It’s very straightforward and it’s very clean, so I think that’s why with Amy these looks really worked.” Try it tomorrow!
