In just a few short months, things are about to get a little more fantastic.

The official Twitter account for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie has shared a brand new poster that shows our Hufflepuff hero Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) gazing at the New York skyline with a wand in one hand and mysterious briefcase in the other.

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling penned the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts, and the poster extends an invitation from Rowling to fans asking to join her in “a new era of the wizarding world.” (Scamander’s New York adventure is set in the 1920s, decades earlier than the Harry Potter series.)

Along with the poster release, the Twitter account also teased a mysterious and “fantastic” announcement to be revealed soon.

Redmayne stars as the expelled Hogwarts student Scamander, who’s now traveled to New York toting a case full of, well, fantastic beasts. But when a number of those beasts escape, he’s forced to track down his exotic creatures while avoiding the attention of No-Maj eyes (AKA non-magical Americans, AKA the equivalent of Muggles).
