As per usual, Jessica Alba looked stunning at the ESPY Awards this week, pairing her graphic Elie Saab dress with super-sleek hair and amped-up earth-toned makeup. With an outfit so glamorous, Avon global makeup artist Lauren Andersen didn't have to search very far to get inspiration for the night's beauty look. "As the dress was beyond exceptional, I didn't want to take away from such a statement," she tells "I combined gold neutrals to make her skin glow, complementing the gown with a slight pop." To start, Andersen used Koh Gen Do foundation ($62; to impart a flawless finish, then swept on Tom Ford's Shade and Illuminate palette ($75; to define Alba's cheekbones. "I wanted to make sure they were glowy, yet defined," she adds. After a touch of Votre Vu's Brow Wax ($17; along her arches, Andersen moved on to the eye makeup, picking up Avon's Eye Dimensions in Khaki Chic ($9; "Jessica has gorgeous eyes. To highlight, I used the deep shade of brown to bring out the beautiful almond hue I applied to her lid," she says. "The eye shadow and Avon Kohl Eyeliner ($7; were essential in creating the eye." A few coats of mascara and Kevyn Aucoin's lip gloss in Vesuvian ($30; tied the look together.

Andersen also gave us an exclusive sneak peek at how she and the star got ready for the big event! Thanks to the Flipagram app, which allows you to turn pictures on your phone into a short video set to music, the pro took us on a quick tour of the glam squad's setup. Of course, getting ready for the big event was just as fun as it looked. "Jessica is always so lovely and easygoing, setting a chill vibe to let everyone explore their craft," she adds.
