Idina Menzel's showstopping rendition of Frozen's "Let It Go" last night at the 2014 Oscars wasn't the only thing that hit all the right notes! In addition to the star's deep green Vera Wang gown, we were also taken by her clean, elegant makeup, which got an extra pop of color later in the night, How did she do it? We just had to get the exclusive details from her makeup artist Matin. "I was inspired by Idina's porcelain skin to create a makeup look that would exude a luminous glow, but that wasn't overly bronzed," he tells InStyle.com. "I brought out the highlights of her fair skin by using shimmery tones from the Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Palette ($12; pixibeauty.com)."

To ensure her complexion stayed flawless all night long, Matin prepped Menzel's skin with a layer of the Flawless & Poreless Primer ($22; target.com). He then used the Flawless Vitamin Veil ($24; target.com) all over, then touched up underneath her eyes using the Pixi Correction Concentrate ($12; target.com). "I also played up her beautiful bone structure and complemented her stunning emerald gown by dabbing the Succulent Lip Twin in Coral Camellia on her cheeks, and the same product in Nude Opal ($18 each; target.com) on her lips," he adds. The result was a nude lip that was anything but boring, complemented by a radiant flush. To give the look extra drama for her performance, Matin added a bold green cat-eye using the Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in EmeraldGold ($12; target.com) just before Menzel took the stage. We love it!
