Evangeline Lilly Charms in a Sheer Gown (and with a Perfectly Placed Curl) at the Hobbit Premiere
Evangeline Lilly looked like ethereal perfection at the Los Angeles premiere of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies on Tuesday. The 35-year-old actress, who portrays the elf Tauriel in the films based on J.R.R. Tolkien's best-selling novels, looked amazing in a nude-colored sheer dress with white lace detailing.
For her hair, she sported a different style then we're used to seeing on the former Lost star. Lilly shaped her short brown hair into a 1920s-style bob with waves and a lone curl flattened on her forehead.
Lilly, who is known for playing rather tough women (or "kick-ass chicks" as she calls them) in Lost and The Hobbit, has said that she likes to maintain a balance for her personal style. "I try to channel that mix of masculine and feminine style in my own wardrobe," she previously told InStyle. "My style crush is Linda Evangelista. I’ve always thought she’s amazing—feminine and sexy but with that cool hint of androgyny." Up next for the stylish actress? She's starring in the Marvel film Ant-Man, which is slated for 2015.
