Eva Longoria Discusses Returning to Comedy and Making Out with Andy Samberg
If you're going to make your return to television after a three-year hiatus from comedy, you might as well go to the top of the heap and appear on the hilarious hit Fox show Brooklyn Nine-Nine (and make out with leading man Andy Samberg while you're at it.) In fact, that's exactly what Eva Longoria did. The actress, whose guest stint as a love interest on the sitcom airs this Sunday, visited Late Night on Thursday, where she chatted with host Seth Meyers about getting back in action, so to speak.
Longoria, who looked gorgeous in a chic two-piece black ensemble, said that her reunion with the former Saturday Night Live star (she hosted back in 2005 when Samberg and Meyers were both there) was fun, but their Brooklyn Nine-Nine lip lock was a bit rough. "There was biting," she admitted. "I said, 'I'm so sorry, I think you're bleeding!'" Meyers assured her that Samberg "had no problem with that."
While Longoria admitted she was nervous to return to the small screen and joked that she "forgot how to act," her worries were eased when she worked with the Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast, who she described as amazing.
