Dresses by J. Mendel’s Gilles Mendel! "I put a lot of love and effort into those dresses," the designer told InStyle.com just days before Emmys night during his New York Fashion Week show. "I would hope that they're effortless and that the woman feels feminine. I love the woman's body. They work hard at making them beautiful." And his hope is that all of the women who chose his pieces—including Malone's merlot satin asymmetrical look, Dennings's sweetheart red-hot crimson column, VanCamp's dove gray pleated style, and Westfeldt's royal blue draped design—feel great about wearing them. "I think they feel confident in the dresses," he said. "They understand the work that is put into them." Plus, see what everyone wore to the 2012 Emmys!
