Emmy Rossum Hits the Red Carpet with an Adorable Kitten in Tow

Emmy Rossum turned the red carpet into her very own catwalk Tuesday night, stepping out at the Best Friends Animal Society Benefit to Save Them All in New York City with a precious kitten as her companion.

The Shameless actress exchanged her black cutch for the pint-sized feline to pose for photographers at the event to raise money for the nonprofit organization.

Rossum later took to Instagram to share the adorable picture with the caption: "Tonight we raised $300,000 for my favorite @bestfriendsanimalsociety. How can you say no to that 4-week-old face?"

The sweet, 4-week-old face of the black-and-white kitten also happened to match perfectly with the actress’s sophisticated ensemble of a white, sleeveless ruffled top, high-waisted black tuxedo pants, and black pointed-toe heels. The 29-year-old donned diamond rings and long diamond earrings, highlighted by sleek hair worn straight and pulled back behind her ears, and capped things off with a bold red lip.
