If a sequined dress doesn’t exactly scream “fuss-free” to you, you’re not alone. These bedazzled frocks might not come off as simple to wear, but celebrities are making a case for their ease. Both Sarah Hyland and Emma Roberts recently rocked sequined dresses and they make them look incredibly stylish.

The Modern Family actress wore a golden long-sleeve KaufmanFranco dress covered in shimmery sequins to a party in Los Angeles last week, where she paired it with simple Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandals, a Jill Milan clutch, stud earrings, and a chic slicked back hairdo (above). Roberts donned a black sequined Bec & Bridge tunic dress this past weekend. The actress teamed hers with black Jimmy Choo pumps, BaubleBar ear jackets, and loose waves (below).

If you want to rock a sequined dress, take a lesson from Hyland and Roberts and keep the rest of your look simple—no statement accessories needed. Both actresses opted for minimal jewelry, relaxed hair styles, and natural makeup. The result? Effortless perfection.
