What do you get when Mary Poppins meets an awards show? Well, you get Emily Blunt, looking like pure glamour at the 2019 Golden Globes red carpet.

Blunt walked in as a six-time nominee (and winner, she took home Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 2007 for Gideon's Daughter), and she used the opportunity to take a fashion risk. For the big night, she wore a sleeveless Alexander McQueen dress that left little to the imagination, thanks to some strategically placed cutouts.

Compared to Blunt's outfits in Globes past, her Sunday night ensemble was more of a fashion risk, thanks to the jagged hemline, see-through lace bodice, and muted color palette.

The last time Blunt attended the Golden Globes, she was nominated for her work in Into the Woods in 2015 and wore a memorable white Michael Kors Grecian gown with standout turquoise earrings.

The two times she made appearances before that, she reached for particular shades of sunshine, opting for a gold Michael Kors dress in 2013 while walking the carpet, and a yellow Katy Perry-esque gown while presenting in 2012.

Back in 2010, Blunt showed off her girly side in a pink tulle dress by Dolce & Gabbana.

And finally, in 2007, Blunt walked her first Globes red carpet (and won her Golden Globe) in a slightly sheer Hervé Léger dress.
