The longtime couple got affectionate as they struck a pose on the blue carpet Wednesday at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, Calif., smiling as they held hands and wrapped their arms around each other ahead of the screening. DeGeneres and de Rossi, who will celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary in August, also managed to coordinate their outfits for the event (intentional or not).
De Rossi stunned in a black-and-white dress, paired with a white clutch and black heels. She kept her blonde bob sleek, covering one eye with a side-swept fringe. Meanwhile, DeGeneres, who stars in the film as the voice of Dory, went casual, complementing De Rossi's ensemble in a patterned bomber jacket, relaxed pants, and sneakers.
The Scandal star wasn't the only family member who came out to support DeGeneres, though. The talk show host's 86-year-old mom, Betty DeGeneres, was also on hand, and proudly posed for a photo opp with her daughter in a plaid black and white tunic and black pants.
Finding Dory is the sequel to Disney's hit film Finding Nemo and centers on forgetful blue tang fish Dory who goes on an adventure with Nemo (Hayden Rolence) and Marlin (Albert Brooks) to find her mom (Diane Keaton) and dad (Eugene Levy).
The film hits theaters June 17.
