Nostalgic styles are here to stay.

We saw celebs like Charlize Theron wear the bowl cut in 2019, and now, Ellen DeGeneres is making sure the style makes it into the '20s.

To accept the Carol Burnett Award at the 77th annual Golden Globes, the TV star debuted the nostalgic style, complete with fresh platinum blonde highlights — a twist on her signature pixie cut.

During her speech, DeGeneres touched on her journey of being a part of the LGBTQ community in Hollywood, and what it means to have made a positive impact through her work.

“All I’ve ever wanted to do is make people feel good and laugh,” DeGeneres said on-stage. “There’s no greater feeling than when someone tells me that I’ve made their day better with my show.”
