Good things really do come in pairs. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the sister act behind Elizabeth and James, introduce a slick take on the label’s Nirvana perfume: a fragrant oil duo now available at ($35). "Perfume oil offers a more intimate fragrance experience [than eau de parfum]," Ashley says. "It seeps into the skin and blends with each person’s chemistry for an entirely unique scent.” Dabbed behind the ears and on the inside of your wrists, "less is more," when applying, Mary-Kate advises.

"Both scents are minimal and true to the raw notes," says Ashley, who wanted to help wearers uncover their own nirvana. And the fragrances stay true to the brand, reflecting its broad appeal. "Elizabeth and James is about duality—masculine and feminine; sexy and sophisticated; intimacy and individuality," Mary-Kate says.

So, which sis rocks the feminine, peony-spiked White and which opts for the bolder, sandalwood-infused Black? “I tend to gravitate towards more masculine scents, like Black,” says Mary-Kate. But Ashley prefers to shake it up: “I’m drawn to scents that are pure and nostalgic—which both of these are for me. I switch it up depending on my mood.” We’ll take one of each, please.
