Who better to welcome Ed Sheeran back to social media than his BFF Taylor Swift? Sheeran spent the Fourth of July weekend partying it up with Swift and her ever-expanding squad in at her sprawling Rhode Island mansion, and at one point, reactivated his long-dormant Instagram profile. Just in time for Swift to tag him in some pretty incredible photos, no less!

Swift's first photo captured the pair rocking out together during an in-house performance. "Just like old times @teddysphotos !!" she captioned the 'gram that shows her dancing while Sheeran shreds his guitar in the background.

The group performance continued with appearances by Orange Is the New Black star Uzo Aduba and supermodel Cara Delevingne on the mics.

Sheeran made yet another appearance on Swift's Instagram, this time in the form of an epic photo bomb of him and his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn (who just celebrated their 1-year anniversary, apparently) sharing a passionate kiss. "'Love actually is all around.' Congratulations guys," Swift appropriately captioned the photo.

Sheeran announced that he was taking a hiatus from social media in December in order to travel the world and work on his third album, and assured fans that he would return in the fall.

"I'm taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while, I've had such an amazing ride over the last 5 years but I find myself seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes so I'm taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I missed."
