It's something we've all known for a long time, but now it's finally official: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is the sexiest man alive! That's right, early this morning People announced that they had bestowed everyone's favorite WWE star turned actor with the coveted title of 2016's Sexiest Man Alive.

We couldn't be happier for the hunky superstar, who has muscled his way into our hearts over the past decade with a series of blockbuster hits and his signature eyebrow acrobatics.

In this week's People cover story, Johnson, 44, discussed how he reacted to news of his latest title. "I said, 'That's awesome.' And then what went through my mind was just how cool and exciting it is," the Moana actor revealed. "And then I thought, 'Wow, we've pretty much reached the pinnacle.' I'm not quite too sure where we go from here. I've done it all, this is it."

Johnson also admitted that it "took a lot of time" to feel comfortable in his own skin—all 6 feet, 5 inches, and 245 pounds of it.

And as for his theory on what makes him oh so sexy? "This is the kind of question that gets me into trouble," he joked. "Ah, a sense of humor. And I think probably just not trying to be sexy and just being cool and confident in your movies. I think with a lot of my fans, I've gotten to a very, very cool place where there's a direct line between the man they know off-screen and the man they see on-screen."
