The actor, who is profiled in InStyle’s January issue, admits that there’s one classic movie that he’ll watch every time it’s on TV—and it unfailingly makes him shed a few tears. “It’s a Wonderful Life,” he told InStyle, naming his all-time favorite film. “I might even cry every time I watch it,” he said before slipping back into his tough-guy persona for the camera. “Tears roll up my face. They’re scared of my face,” Johnson joked. Carter Smith/Copious Management The Rock Unveiled a Major Easter Egg About His Moana Character In the revealing interview at top, the Moana star also talks about his skincare routine and the many mistruths that have been written about it. “The last thing I Googled was 'Dwayne Johnson exfoliation.' I found that there are a lot of articles that are written about what I do to take care of my skin. But just between you and I—and I know nobody else is watching this right now—it’s all bulls—t. Yeah, all bulls—t,” he said. And as for his first Hollywood crush, that would go to one miss Halle Berry. “I can’t remember who my first celebrity crush was but I do remember when I first broke into Hollywood, The Scorpion King had just come out that year. I ran into Halle Berry that year. It was the very first time I met her. This was in 2001, I think, or 2000. And I remember, I didn’t know I had a crush on her until I met her that night and I walked away like, ‘Yeah, I think I’m crushing on that woman,’ ” Johnson said. “And I have been every since, by the way. But she’s the best. I love her, and we’re pretty good friends.” For more from Johnson, watch the video at top and pick up the January issue of InStyle, available on newsstands and for digital download Dec. 8.
