It looks like Prince George and Princess Charlotte will need a babysitter! Prince William and Kate Middleton are heading out of the country this spring for their first official visit to India and Bhutan. Kensington Palace announced the news through an Instagram post, saying the royal couple is “very much looking forward” to the trip.

“Their visit to India will be an introduction to a country that they plan to build an enduring relationship with,” they wrote. “They will pay tribute to India’s proud history, but also are keen to understand the hopes and aspirations of young Indian people and the major role they will play in shaping the 21st century.”

The Duke and Duchess will also meet for the first time the royal family of Bhutan, who just welcomed a new prince. “Their visit to Bhutan will allow them to continue a relationship between two Royal Families by meeting The King and Queen,” Kensington Palace announced.

The tour comes just before Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday, and “will also allow The Duke and Duchess to pay tribute to Her Majesty’s huge contribution to diplomacy in Britain and the Commonwealth.”

The royal couple will leave for their week-long trip on April 10. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the Duchess’s fashion choices: After going green for a trip to Scotland, we can’t wait to see what she dreams up for this journey.
