Duchess Kate’s Fave Brand, L.K. Bennett, Teams With Laura Bailey for a Collab Perfect for Working Moms

As we all know, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge is about to pop out baby #2, which means she’ll be on her feet with two young children in just a few days time. If we were to buy her a push present, we’d definitely turn to L.K. Bennett, one of her fave stores ever. That’s because the British retailer just released a colorful, geometric collaboration with British model and writer Laura Bailey, who, fittingly enough, was inspired by working moms for her capsule.

“As a working mother I wanted my collection to be both beautiful and practical, to feel luxe and spoiling but not slow me down,” she told InStyle exclusively. Therefore, she delivers flats you can walk forever in, kitten heels that won’t give you blisters, and chunky peep-toes that will keep you sturdy in chevron-style vibrant, primary-color stripes inspired by the hues of the Amalfi Coast. Hence, each style is named afer an Italian actress, like Monica for Monica Vitti and Virna for Virna Lisi.

She also added a clutch style that doubles as a giant pouch to throw in your tote for on-the-move moms. “I hope the summer stripes and bold colors inspire joy,” says Bailey. Usually a new pair of shoes or clutch will do just that.
