Forget Dad Sneakers, Dua Lipa Went for It in Head-To-Toe Dad Wear

If you thought that chunky, oversized dad sneakers were on their way out, Dua Lipa's latest ensemble might make you reconsider that particular footwear trend — and think about going all the way and embracing dad-inflected everything.
Lipa wore clunky white sneakers (pristine, we might add) from Prada during an appearance at BBC Radio One in London.

While she's been promoting her new single, "Physical," in polished, Kanye West-approved monochromatic looks, her off-stage outfit was far from the futuristic vibes she's been embracing when she's behind the mic. While athleisure is the usual go-to for anyone sporting dad kicks, Lipa didn't just dip her chunky toebox into the trend. Instead, she embraced it fully, wearing the shoes with medium-wash, wide-leg denim and a boxy, oversized leather jacket that would be a go-to for any dad. Her outerwear looked to be inspired by actual '80s vintage, with droopy, drop shoulders and a look-at-me cognac shade.

Not every piece was an homage to suburbia, however. Under the statement-making jacket, she wore a white baby T and a chain-strap crossbody bag, making for a modern mix that just about anyone can get behind.
