Designer Jean Paul Gaultier is known for closing his shows with a bang, and this season, he did not disappoint. Following Dita Von Teese's burlesque butterfly finale for couture spring 2014, Gaultier one-upped even himself when he recruited Austrian singer Conchita Wurst for his fall/winter 2014 couture line.

Wurst, who has previously described herself as the "Bearded Lady," made her runway debut when she closed to a tremendous round of applause. In typical Jean Paul Gaultier fashion, the finale dress was nothing short of spectacular—the sweeping Gothic bridal gown boasted rich embroidery, complete with a patent red waist-cinching belt and a black veil. The final touch? Wurst's piercing model stare.

Other memorable moments from the show included slouchy couture joggers (yes, joggers) paired with equally slouchy off-shoulder sweatshirts (below, right) and a winged angelic-like creation (below, left) that stood out especially among the other dark, vampiric numbers in the line-up. One thing's for sure: Jean Paul Gaultier knows how to put on a show!
