Oh my stars! When Dakota Fanning stepped onto red carpet at the fourth annual Save the Children Illumination Gala on Tuesday, the actress twinkled even brighter than usual.

For the glamorous event, held at New York City's Plaza Hotel, Fanning donned a black dress that featured sheer sleeves and a sheer bodice with white, yellow, and pink stars embroidered onto the transparent overlay. The Save the Children Artist Ambassador paired the look with black peep-toe heels and fresh-faced makeup and wore her blonde hair straight and parted down the middle.
