Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden's Royal Wedding Style
In the biggest royal wedding since Charles and Diana's opulent affair in 1981, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden married her former personal trainer, Daniel Westling, this weekend in a lavish, yet traditional royal ceremony (with over 1,200 guests and an estimated 500 million TV viewers!) in the Stockholm Cathedral. The queen-to-be wore a custom-made, cream duchess satin gown by Swedish designer Par Engsheden, complete with a 16.5 foot train that took two staff remembers to carry in her wake. She accessorized the off-the-shoulder design with the same cameo tiara and drop earrings her mother, Queen Silvia, wore at her own wedding 30 years ago. Both the Princess and the Queen wore custom Roger Vivier shoes (Victoria chose the Belle de Nuit style in white silk).
