Ralph Lauren debuted the village wear and closing ceremony looks for Team USA’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes back in October, and now they have revealed the Official Opening Ceremony Parade Uniforms. The head-to-toe looks will be worn by Team USA as they open the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia on Friday, February 7th. "It is a privilege to be a part of dressing Team USA during the Sochi Games," states David Lauren, the brand's Executive VP of Advertising, Marketing and Corporate Communications. "It’s a proud moment for us to watch these premier athletes as they walk out representing our nation on a global stage in front of billions of people worldwide."

As for the uniforms themselves? The are very patriotic and feature a cozy cardigan paired with a cream cotton turtleneck sweater, slim-fitting white fleece athletic pants, a wool reindeer hat, sporty black leather boots with red laces, and a cotton belt accented with graphic jacquard tape. The meticulously knit patchwork cardigan is clearly the statement piece of the look, and is emblazoned with stars and spirited graphics in a classic color palette of red, white and navy. The variety of special touches on the cardigan are meant to mirror the many hands and vendors across the country that helped Ralph Lauren produce its entire Team USA wardrobe right here in the United States, while the patchwork collage represents the American athletes who each have their own unique story to tell. We think the uniform confidently says "Made in America," and can't wait to see Team USA rock the look at the Winter Games.

If you're feeling the Olympic spirit, you can buy the entire outfit for yourself at—and, for the first time 100% of the purchase price of the Team USA Opening Ceremony Cardigan will be donated to the U.S. Olympic Committee, the organization responsible for funding Team USA..
