Does Coldplay frontman Chris Martin have what it takes to top Adele’s hilariously candid antics? We’re about to find out.

The 38-year-old English talent is on deck to take the passenger seat for the next installment of Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Entertainment Weekly reports. The episode, which will air the week of Feb. 1, ahead of Coldplay’s Feb. 7 Super Bowl 50 halftime performance, has Martin hopping in the car and taking part in a too-funny stream of sing-alongs that also includes a touching tribute to the late David Bowie.

“It’s more of a road trip than it is a Carpool in many ways,” Corden told EW. “I’m such a fan of his. I’m a fan of that band—they mean the world to me. It was very funny. He brought a keyboard over, and it involved an overnight stay. It was fun.” As for the tribute, Corden describes it as "really lovely.”

If Adele’s cover of the Spice Girls’s “Wannabe” serves as any indicator of what’s to come, Martin’s trip is sure to be an epic ride.
