Classic Black and White Dominated On the Grammys Red Carpet
The Grammys may be the one awards show where stars can get away with more risqué fashion choices, but classic black and white dominated at the 2015 event. From Beyoncé to Nicki Minaj to Katy Perry, some of our favorite ladies stunned on the red carpet in the timeless shades, proving that muted colors can be just as eye-catching as their vibrant counterparts.
Queen Bey (top, left), who won her 20th Grammy at tonight's show, glowed on the carpet in a sparkling black long-sleeve Proenza Schouler gown while Ariana Grande (top, center) showed off her tiny physique in a one-shouldered white Versace gown with a sexy open back and silver metallic detailing. Gwen Stefani (top, right) bucked the dress altogether in favor of an art-inspired black jumpsuit by Versace.
Miley Cyrus (above, left) went the sexy route for the evening in a sleek black Alexandre Vauthier gown that featured cutouts down both sides, while Katy Perry (above, right) opted for a slightly more covered-up but still incredibly glam beaded white Zuhair Murad dress. The singer paired the eye-catching frock, which she described as fresh off the Paris runways, with a brand new purple 'do.
Minaj (above, left) amped up the sexy in a daring low-cut, backless Tom Ford gown with a beaded skirt that she paired with dazzling Jacob & Co jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti heels. Chrissy Teigen (above, right) kept it classy in a white Pucci gown with long sleeves and carefully placed cutouts accented with dazzling Norman Silverman Diamonds jewelry.
Ciara (above, left) wowed in a voluminous black one-shouldered dress with an asymmetrical hem, which put her killer legs on display. Meanwhile, Jennifer Hudson (above, right) showed off her physique in a curve-hugging white strapless Tom Ford number teamed with a chocker necklace and strappy heels.
