Ciara Goes Glam in Zuhair Murad at the Essence Black Women in Music Party
Being a big star has lots of perks, one of which is that you get to wear almost any designer you can dream of. One of those dream designers for Ciara is Zuhair Murad, whose dress she wore for the first time to Thursday night's Essence Black Women in Music pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles. "I'm wearing Zuahir Murad and I was so excited!" the singer (and new mom) told InStyle at the event.
She clearly had a lot to be excited about because she looked good—the stunning long-sleeve gown, which she paired with Stuart Weitzman heels, featured a thigh-high slit, lace detailing, and deep V neckline and showed off Ciara's otherworldly physique. "I'm a huge fan of his line," she continued. "And the funny thing is I've never worn him ever which is so weird, but I'm excited."
Although Ciara, who has previously won a Grammy for "Lose Control," isn't nominated this year, she says there's a lot of fresh talent out there she'd love to collaborate with. "There are definitely some new artists that I'd love to work with. They may not be nominated, but I'm just happy for everyone. It's really a huge blessing when you get that opportunity to get a Grammy, and it's the greatest feeling when you win one."
