Making headlines recently is the surprising (yet, adorable) romance between Blake Shelton and InStyle's December cover star, Gwen Stefani. The pair recently became close—and were reportedly acting flirty—as co-coaches on set of NBC's popular singing competition TV show, The Voice.

Former The Voice coach and friend to both Shelton and Stefani, Christina Aguilera, weighed in on the budding romance in Tuesday's issue of Metro, saying that "happiness deserves happiness."

While Aguilera says she never watches the show—not even when she was a coach because she was always "too tired to watch it back"—the songstress still stays in touch with The Voice coaches, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, and Blake Shelton. Aguilera said she's seen them every week since October pre-taping the battles and, every now and then, she pops her head in to visit.

When asked about Shelton and Stefani's recently confirmed romance, Aguilera was nothing but supportive, saying "I know their personal experiences with their divorces on separate levels, and man, I've been through a divorce myself so everybody deserves happiness. And they're two amazing people, such hard workers."

Going on to comment on Stefani's parenting style, Aguilera said that the former No Doubt frontwoman is a "great mom" to her three boys and deserves happiness—"So, why not?" when it comes to the new romance. And, we completely agree. Congrats to the happy new couple!
