Christian Siriano is turning 30, and we're honoring the Project Runway winner's momentous birthday with a look at nine of his best behind-the-scenes Instagram snaps.

Before Siriano dressed some of Hollywood's biggest stars—including Jennifer Lopez, Christina Hendricks, Sarah Jessica Parker and Gwyneth Paltrow—he was a contestant on the fourth season of Project Runway at age 22, where he became the youngest winner in the show's history.

Shortly after winning, Siriano launched his eponymous label in 2008—which is now shown during New York Fashion Week—and became a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) in 2013. But he isn't slowing down just yet. While Siriano is known for his whimsical and intricate designs, the 30-year-old designer also launched his very own fragrance in 2014, followed by a line of tech accessories.

From outfitting women in an elaborate gowns to dressing their smartphones, Siriano remains dedicated to his signature style M.O.: looking fierce. "I always say it's better to be overdressed than underdressed," the designer once preached to InStyle. Hey, we totally echo his sentiments!
