Chrissy Teigen has a confession: she did not wake up like this. Just because the major foodie and total beauty is always sharing droolworthy eats on Instagram and Twitter doesn’t mean that she’s not hitting the gym too.

"Honestly, I have to work out now. When I hit 24 or something, things started to slow down and I wasn't able to eat as crazy as I wanted to," Teigen reveals at Shutterfly’s Wine, Dine & DIY Design event last night in New York City in between crafting. "Just because I'm not the girl that Instagrams herself at the gym everyday or shows a video of me doing bicep curls doesn't mean that I don't work out, and it doesn't mean that I don't eat healthy for breakfast and lunch. I still have those times where I eat ridiculously, which might be the one meal you see a day [on social media]. I really do love eating clean and healthy these days."

That being said, it’s no surprise that the Sports Illustrated stunner’s favorite gifts revolve around eating. "I got my husband John [Legend] a deep fryer for both coasts and that has in return given me the gift of his fried chicken," says Teigen, clad in a chic Self Portrait jumpsuit, Balmain shoes, and Suzanne Kalan jewels. "I have a way about gifts where I know I can get something out of it!" While she loves giving gifts to her husband and family during the holidays, Chrissy thinks she already gets too many presents. "I'm ridiculously lucky to be sent the most ridiculous items," she shares. "Anything I Tweet about, I end up getting sent somehow, so for me, I have this weird Twitter Christmas all year round. I'll get like tabasco, White Castle, and Taco Bell! That's my entire life, getting awesome gifts."

In between modeling, traveling, eating, and Instagramming also comes the holiday party circuit, where Teigen avoids the crazy Christmas sweaters and ubiquitous sequins. "I keep it pretty simple—I love layering. I love big, cozy, off-the-shoulder pieces," she confesses. "When times are cold but you still gotta be hot, do a big, slouchy sweater off-the-shoulder. There's nothing sexier than that."
