Chris Pratt may play a superhero, but his skills as a pancake artist are less than superhuman, at least according to his 3-year-old son Jack. The Guardians of the Galaxy star took to Instagram today to share a hilarious video of his exchange with the boy over breakfast.

In the cute clip, Pratt asks Jack what he thinks of the pancake he made in the shape of Donald Duck. “It doesn’t look like Donald Duck,” the unimpressed toddler replied. “Daddy, look at it.”

“He doesn’t have a tail. Where’s his tail?” Jack innocently asks his dad, who was clearly proud of his pancake-making skills.

In the caption, Pratt got even funnier. “Dad /dad/ noun informal One’s father,” he wrote. “Verb ‘Chris made a Donald Duck pancake that was basically a perfect photo copy of the picture he saw online and his son Jack refused to see the resemblance, probably out of spite or a deep seeded jealousy of his father’s pancake skills, regardless Chris continued to dad.’”
