Sex and the City's Chris Noth Turns 61
Mr. Big is turning 61! Chris Noth, the former Sex and the City star—and the man who stole Carrie Bradshaw's heart (and ours to boot!)—is celebrating his birthday today and we're reliving the show that made him famous.
Noth first appeared on the hit HBO series in 1998 and remained as a love interest for Carrie Bradshaw (played by the one and only Sarah Jessica Parker) until the finale in 2004. It was his role as Mr. Big that Noth earned his first Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role.
Following the series' finale, Noth, Carrie, and the rest of the girls returned to the big screen with the Sex and the City film in 2008 and again in 2010 for a sequel.
The actor then suited up for yet another television role in The Good Wife opposite Julianna Margulies in 2009, earning himself yet another Golden Globe nomination. Today, Noth has been busy filming movies including Chronically Metropolitan, where he's starring opposite Mary-Louise Parker and Ashley Benson.
While Noth has certainty moved on from his Sex and the City days, we'll always love him at Mr. Big. Celebrate his 61st birthday by reliving some of Carrie's most iconic looks.
