At the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival, Marilyn Monroe's most memorable movie moment—her rousing rendition of "Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend," in the 1953 musical comedy Gentlemen Prefer Blondes—is being celebrated by Chopard. The Swiss jeweler has created a diamond necklace in honor of the blonde bombshell's object of affection in the film. The extravaganza captures the spirit of the bib the actress flaunted in her famous musical number, but it is far more dazzling, featuring almost 200 carats of diamonds. We're sure Marilyn would approve—or better yet sing, "Square-cut or pear-shape, these rocks don’t lose their shape!"
