Chica Kicks Off Its First Issue with Gorgeous Cover Star Génesis Rodríguez

There's an exciting new glossy in our midst—Chica magazine—and they're kicking things off with an insert in People En Español's 50 Most Beautiful issue, out now. The magazine is kicking off their debut summer issue with beautiful Latina actress Génesis Rodríguez.

Known for her roles in several Telemundo telenovelas as well as films Man on a Ledge, Casa de Mi Padre, and What to Expect When You're Expecting, the Miami native recently filmed Run All Night with actor Liam Neeson. Rodríguez is making a splash in Hollywood, but tells Chica she misses her hometown. "Being by the ocean is the greatest thing. I love Miami, I miss it so much," the actress says. "I miss the beach, the peace it brings you. I love the sound and smell of the sea."

Aside from being a studied actress, Rodríguez makes one hot model, smoldering on the magazine's cover in a black crochet one-piece swimsuit and long, beachy waves. How does she keep in such great shape? "Whenever I feel like eating dessert, rice, beans or fries, I give myself that as long as I work out," she says to Chica. "I know I can’t eat whatever I want and look the way I want, so you need to work for it. I give credit to Pilates and my parents’ good genes." Her beachy feature is enough to make us long for warmer climates! As for Rodríguez, we can't wait to see where she goes next. "I am living my dream every day," she says.
