Channing Tatum’s 3-Year-Old Daughter Gave Him the Sweetest Birthday Gift
Channing Tatum turned 37 on Wednesday, and we’d bet that his favorite present was the one he got from his 3-year-old daughter, Everly. The Magic Mike star was gifted with a homemade cake from his toddler—and likely some help from mom Jenna Dewan Tatum.
The actress shared a photo of the M&M-covered dessert on Wednesday, which reads, “I [love] u daddy. I made this cake for you. [Love] Evie.”
The 3-year-old was also on-hand for Wednesday night’s birthday celebrations, which included a bowling party with her parents and their friends, where Channing and Jenna taught their daughter how to bowl.
The couple wed in 2009, but it wasn’t until this week that we found out how they came to be exclusive. “He did this whole thing where he didn’t want to be in a relationship, so I was like, ‘Look, if you want to date other people and be free, that’s fine, but we’re not going to hang out and watch movies. You’ve got to figure out what you want, because I know I want to be in a relationship with you,” Jenna said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week.
It didn’t take long before Channing had made his decision. After a night out drinking, he showed up at his future wife’s door. “He said he had the chance ‘to be free’ and he couldn’t stop thinking about me,” she said.
