After fun-filled pre-show festivities, stars like Diane Kruger and Vanessa Paradis took in Karl Lagerfeld's 2011 resort collection for Chanel yesterday evening in Saint Tropez. The boardwalk alongside popular hangout Café Sénéquier served as the runway for his '70s-jetsetter-inspired collection, which featured hippie chic crochet and chiffon jumpsuits, micro-minidresses in the line's signature pink and black tweed, cutesy gingham swimsuits and tonal leather and suede separates. While the knee-high gladiator sandals and strappy wedges were completely covetable, most models, like Karolina Kurkova, happily slipped them off for a barefoot strut. For the finale, Georgia May Jagger hopped aboard a motorcycle in a tunic dress and cognac over-the-knee boots, as if she were heading off to yet another fashionable Chanel fantasy.
