In March, NHL star Mike Fisher made us all melt when he shared a sweet birthday shout-out for wife Carrie Underwood, showing how important she is to him and the couple's 2-year-old son, Isaiah.

Now, months later, the country superstar is returning the birthday love with a social media tribute that includes a loving message for her husband of seven years and the cheesiest of puns.

The Instagram and Twitter shout-out was a doubly sweet surprise for the Predators hockey star—who will play in the Stanley Cup Finals after beating out the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday—as Underwood slipped in a sweet message of support for her husband.

"Happy birthday to this handsome hunk! I'll never forget the day he told me he was asked to wear the 'C,'" the "Dirty Laundry" hitmaker wrote, referring to the "C" embroidered on the 37-year-old's hockey jersey. "I was so proud on that day and I'm even more proud now to see him play in the #StanleyCupFinals."

Sharing a photo of the pro athlete holding up the Nashville, Tennessee team's jersey in black and yellow, the "Cowboy Casanova" star signed off her message by adding in a corny joke.

"He's definitely the only FISH in the "C" for me!" the country songstress concluded the celebratory post along with multiple fish and heart emojis.
