Carrie Underwood Has a Secret Stash Of Maternity Wear: Her Husband's Clothes
What to do when you're so pregnant that your clothes don't fit? Carrie Underwood's got a plan: wearing her husband Mike Fisher's clothes. People reports that the singer declared that none of her own clothes fit, so the only thing to do was to put on his. Underwood posted it all on Twitter — and Fisher got in on the action, too.
"Officially wearing Mike’s clothes in public now, so… #pregnant #MyClothesDontFit #sorrybabe," she wrote. It's a far cry from the ultra-glam sequined outfits she wore during her stint as host of the CMAs.
Fisher issued a response, joking right back and saying that he didn't appreciate her stretching out his clothing.
Fisher and Underwood announced the new addition back in August, after she revealed that she had experienced three miscarriages in the past two years. She told Taste of Country that when she was able to publicly announce her second pregnancy, she was elated.
"We were just so excited. It took us a while to get here, and we were just feeling so blessed," she said. The couple currently has one son, 3-year-old Isaiah.
