Carrie Underwood Rivals Kate Middleton's Maternity Coat Style
In case you weren't aware, Kate Middleton had the best maternity coat style this past winter while pregnant with her third child, Prince Louis. From chic Catherine Walker jackets that skimmed her baby bump to coats in cheery colors and tartan patterns, she nailed it at every occasion.
Check out the evidence below:
However, country singer and soon-to-be mom of two Carrie Underwood is giving the royal a run for her money, as she stepped out in two lavish jackets this week alone.
On Wednesday, the Cry Pretty songstress appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show wearing a pale pink cape coat with structured shoulders and panels of decorative buttons on each side.
The soft shade potentially hinted at the gender of her baby, but whatever her reasoning for slipping on the pastel topper, it added a pop of color to her all-black ensemble.
The following day, Underwood kicked it up a notch in a red hot double-breasted taffeta trench coat, which perfectly matched her Minna Parikka crystal-embellished mules. She wore the sultry number to receive her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
For some extra edge, Carrie popped the coat's collar and loosely tied its belt around her waist, exposing her black minidress underneath.
With chillier weather just around the corner and several more months until Underwood gives birth to her second child, we have a feeling this is merely only a sneak peek of her maternity coat collection to come.
