Who better than Florida-born Carolyn Murphy to delivery truly preppy, all-American style? That’s precisely why the 41-year-old supermodel stars in the crisp new campaign for Sunglasses by J.Crew, the brand’s first foray into the world of sunglasses.

Dressed in a selection of striped shirts, sleek navy leather jackets, camel coats, and denim staples, Murphy and #girlpower-loving model Liya Kedebe together flaunt their natural glow—the perfect pairing for the brand’s new roster of colorful accessories. Ranging between $98 and $128, the affordable collection offers 18 frames for women and nine for men (six are unisex), all of which come with scratch-resistant CR-39 lenses that not only protect against UV rays, but simply look cool.

“We are big fans of inside details—not outside logos—especially on your face. A bar door hinge served as the inspiration for the collection’s hinges. The main detailing is visible only from the inside—strong yet understated,” Jenna Lyons, J.Crew president and creative director said in a statement.

The women’s offerings are charmingly dubbed the Betty, Ryan, Sam, Irving, and Jill, and together make up a mix of dark-toned shades with brightly colored and patterned frames in everything from opaque blush to classic tortoise.
