Most of the Cardi B buzz you've heard over the past few days probably has to do with a reported incident involving Nicki Minaj, a shoe, and a New York Fashion Week party. Her shade — a high-shine royal blue dubbed Cardi — is part of the designer's Boys & Girls Mini Lipstick shade expansion, which includes 15 new "girls" and 15 new "boys." If you're not familiar with Tom Ford's Boys & Girls collection, allow us to fill you in on what that really means.

Each $36 lipstick is named after the designer's friends and collaborators, and FYI, Cardi B sat front row at Tom Ford's New York Fashion Week show. But now that you know that Tom Ford gives his besties lipstick, you can safely assume that the high-shine purple, Kaia, is in fact named for supermodel Kaia Gerber. And Armie? Yeah, that's for Call Me by Your Name star Armie Hammer.
